Gaia Luna is all about combining earth's natural elements to bring out handmade products that reach a soul. One of our best products, our crystal pipes, we call them wands. Check them out here .
We get lots of requests on how to go about charging and cleaning your wands in order to take the best care of them....But first, what is this whole charging thing?
Many people begin their relationship with a new crystal by cleansing it first. Cleansing can be performed at any time to refresh the crystal or clear it of any residual unwanted energies.
The Moon can be utilized for cleansing and charging. Some people make a ritual of burying their crystal under a full moon, to take advantage of the magnetic forces of the moon in combination with the earth. This is what we do with ours when we get access to a full moon.
Water is a universal cleanser. If you have access to the ocean, ocean water is wonderful. If not, spring water, lake water, or any type of filtered water. Some people also add salt to their water, because of its electric properties.
You can simply rinse the crystal in water, or you can follow up by placing the crystal in a clear glass filled with water. Place the glass on your windowsill, ideally facing the south, to charge in the sun, if you're into that kind of stuff.
The most potent smudge is white sage (which by the way, we will begin to ship with every crystal pipe bundle). White sage has fragrant herbs that could benefit not only your crystal but its user. Sage smoke is actually very powerful to cleanse both your stones and the environment where they rest.
These are only a few of the methods we have heard of, there are lots of way to manipulate earth's elements in order to cleanse and clear your crystals to enforce their metaphysical properties.
